MOMus – Experimental Center for the Arts invites the artist Virginia Mastrogiannaki to perform an “open reading” of the Greek Constitution, at the Old Parliament’s historical conference room (National Historical Museum, Athens) on Saturday 30th March 2019 at 16:00 (performance duration: 4:30 hours).
The Greek Constitution is the fundamental text upon which the formulation of the whole of the country’s legislation is based regarding the rights, the obligations of citizens, as well as the organization and the basic functional rules of the state and all institutions.
Reading in / Reading out is a continuous non-stop breathing-reading performance, seeking to literally and metaphorically transform the body into a woodwind instrument.
The entrance is open to the public.
With the support of Outset Greece.
