ENTHYMIO

ENTHYMIO is a collective project about the autonomy of the idea of the artwork and takes the form of a boxing of ideas involving the artists, architects and theorists who took part in the discussion table at the launch of Potential Project in 2019. It is a conceptual experiment that places 75 ideas for possible artworks inside 75 identical white cubes and seals them so that their contents remain secret and unrecognizable. The repetitive white boxes act as containers of ideas and remind us of the ambiguity and contingency of art as they ask of us to imagine what they enclose, to manage our curiosity and to make assumptions.

A public talk with the title UNREALIZED, which focuses on issues concerning the unrealized artwork and its importance is organized for the second day of the exhibition. Invited speakers are curator Nadja Argyropoulou, curator Xenia Kalpaktsoglou & art historian and co-founder of MoRE museum of refused and unrealized art projects Marco Scotti.
