Scientific research, much like any other form of innovation, often advances regardless of social and cultural developments of the era it takes place and, sometimes, it even goes against them. However, the unique way in which scientific advancements are perceived through art is an indicator of its impact to the general public and whether it accepts or rejects them, regardless of the extent to which they are understood. This interaction of art and science is exactly what we will attempt to investigate.
